General English

Our English course is focus on the skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening with an emphasis on improving your fluency and speaking skill for work, study, travel or simply making conversation with friends.

Course Designed for

Full or part-time learners and adult learners

Settled communities, including European nationals and international students, asylum seekers, settled refugees, Migrant workers who work or settle in the UK for most of their lives

Modules

Each qualification has three units:

Unit 1: Speaking and listening

Unit 2: Writing

Unit 3: Reading

At the end of the course, the college provides the learner with an opportunity to take a recognised test at appropriate level. Learners must achieve all three units (Speaking and Listening, Writing and Reading) in order to achieve a Certificate.

It is an intensive two week and Four week programme, combining academic classes, class excursions, university preparation advice and wider skills sessions. Students also enjoy a varied social programme which takes advantage of Trinity Skool of England enviable central London location and give students time to relax with new friends from around the world.

Assessment

Candidates are tested for each of the core language skills of speaking and listening, reading and writing, and a college certificate is provided at the end of the course.
